Job Description
Reporting to the Technical Director – Microfabrication, the Manufacturing Technical Specialist (MTS) will be responsible for supporting customer projects as well as the C2MI technical development team in the fabrication of prototypes on a full MEMS manufacturing line: CVD, LPCVD, PECVD deposition systems; photolithography equipment; dry and wet etching; wafer bonding; polishing; metrology equipment and more. The incumbent will contribute to process and equipment support for various microfabrication steps. They will also ensure product quality monitoring in order to provide data and certain analyses to the technical team. Finally, the person will be responsible for training the C2MI Microfabrication team on the operation of scientific manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities

Support assigned customer mandates;

Coordinate and carry out the advancement of prototype lots on the manufacturing line;

Inspect and collect wafer data after each manufacturing step to ensure quality;

Perform development tests for the technical group;

Gather and compile data required for technical group reports;

Support certain processes or equipment on the microfabrication line;

Propose improvements to manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce project lead time, or lower costs;

Participate in the organization’s regular production and quality reviews;

Train C2MI team members on equipment operation and maintain up-to-date training records;

Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor within the incumbent’s field of expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma (DES) or vocational diploma (DEP);

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a microsystems manufacturing environment;
-
Strong attention to detail and rigor in task execution;
-
Basic knowledge of quality management practices;

Strong skills in scheduling and priority management;

Teamwork abilities;
-
Autonomy;
-
Ability to identify improvement opportunities and communicate them;

Desire to work in a creative environment with novelty and frequent change.
