Technical Sales Representative

Job description
We are currently looking for a Technical Representative to join our Business Development team. Reporting to the Vice-President of Business Development, the Technical Representative will be responsible for raising C2MI’s profile in Canada and around the world, promoting the technical activities that take place here, and approaching customers to bring development and prototyping projects to C2MI, all the while supporting the company’s current customers in their activities.
Responsabilities
- Present and promote C2MI’s offer, with the aim of expanding its pool of industrial customers in all areas of the company’s activity;
- Present and promote C2MI’s offering in clients’ organizations or in related organizations, with the aim of increasing the number of C2MI projects from existing clients;
- Support customer development projects and participate in discussions with the technical team;
- Attend and represent C2MI at industry technical conferences to promote C2MI’s offering ;
- Keep an eye on new developments in the fields of electronics, microelectronics and quantum mechanics, as well as new players who could become C2MI industrial customers;
- Work with the team to improve or modify C2MI’s offer in order to attract a larger pool of potential industrial customers;
- Participate in regular business progress reviews.
Skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in science (physics or chemistry) or engineering (electrical, mechanical, chemical or physics);
- Experience required: minimum 5 years in the field of microelectronics;
- Knowledge of disciplines related to the company’s activities, as well as knowledge of the market and key players in the microelectronics and quantum sectors;
- Ability to identify decision-makers within companies;
- Strong negotiation, communication and teamwork skills;
- Understanding of company resources, priorities, policies and needs;
- Help in shaping corporate strategies and solve technical or operational problems.
