At the 14th Gala Excellence hosted by the Brome-Missisquoi Chamber of Commerce, Chantal Lacroix presented our CEO with the Personality of the Year Award.
This award highlights the visionary leadership of Marie-Josée Turgeon, whose guidance has shaped a remarkable year for C2MI, bringing significant advancements to the region for the semiconductor industry.
Marie-Josée Turgeon, C2MI’s CEO, has been presented with the Engineer Woman Award at FEMWORX 2025, during the renowned Hannover Messe – the world’s largest industrial trade fair.
This award recognizes the strength of her visionary and mobilizing leadership, her concrete commitment to diversity, and her ability to drive change in a sector undergoing profound transformation. A high-level distinction that reflects what we see every day: a humane, inspiring and resolutely forward-looking leader.
The Canada Awards for Excellence is the country’s foremost recognition of organizational excellence. C2MI is a Gold recipient in the Excellence, Innovation and Wellness category.

For the project carried out in partnership with École de technologie supérieure on the printing and assembly of copper circuits that withstand JEDEC reliability tests, C2MI received the “Best Research Project” award.
Christophe Sansregret (C2MI) and Sylvain Cloutier (ÉTS) proudly received the award on behalf of the entire team who worked on this new technology.
On October 12th, at the IMAPS International Symposium, Catherine Marsan-Loyer, a member of the C2MI technical services team, was awarded a community recognition for writing a student essay: Characterization of a flux adapted to the dipping process for a fine pitch microchip brazing process.
Alain Renaudin, Director, Business Development, received an award for the best presentation at the MEMS & SENSORS Technical Congress for his presentation: “PROfessional expertise for sucCESS”. This presentation explained how the C2MI process accelerates the development and commercialization of microelectronic components for digital technologies through the experts who contribute to it.
On November 25th, AEPONYX, in partnership with the C2MI won the PARTNERSHIP AWARD at the 31st Innovation Awards Gala presented by the ADRIQ.
The award-winning partnership, initiated in 2014 involved close collaboration between Aeponyx, 4 universities, 1 CCTT and C2MI. The development was carried out at C2MI on industrial equipment at the cutting edge of MEMS technologies and allowed to accelerate the development of an innovative product and ensure its transfer to high volume production.
On November 18th, Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of the Economy and Innovation, awarded a Grande Mention to Marie-Josée Turgeon, General Manager of the Centre de Collaboration MiQro Innovation (C2MI).
The Performance Quebec Awards are the highest distinction awarded annually by the Quebec government to private companies and public organizations that stand out for the quality of their management and their overall performance.
