Ms. Marie-Josée Turgeon joined C2MI in October 2016 as Vice President, Business Development. Since 2018, Marie-Josée has been Vice President of Operations and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Her role is to ensure the proper operational functioning and facilitate the realization of the various requests of partners and clients of C2MI as well as to assist the CEO in the operating activities of the Centre.
For more than 20 years, Marie-Josée has worked in the manufacturing sector of microelectronics. She worked for IBM Bromont in several sectors, including process engineer, manufacturing director, engineering group director, director of the accounting sector and payable accounts before being appointed manager of business unit where she was responsible for several technical and manufacturing teams. Then, she continued her career as a plant manager for Varitron in Granby where she was fully responsible for managing the operations, human resources and financial resources of the site. Throughout her career, Marie-Josée has become involved and continues to be involved in the promotion of science at the level of secondary school girls through many activities, most recently the Chair for Women in Science and Technology Engineer of the Université de Sherbrooke.
Marie-Josée holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Université Laval and an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke.
