JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading certain client projects and supporting the C2MI technical development team in the manufacture of prototypes on a dedicated production line for micro-electronic devices (MEMS). They will be responsible for supporting various microfabrication processes and equipment. They will also be responsible for product quality control in order to be able to draft the necessary reports or provide analyses to the technical team and partners.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, lead and coordinate certain client projects.
  • Plan the process and manage prototype batches on the production line.
  • Inspect and analyse wafer data after each manufacturing stage to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Prepare and carry out their own development tests and those of the technical team.
  • Collect, compile and analyse the data required to draft their own technical reports and assist in drafting those of the technical team.
  • Be responsible for supporting certain processes or equipment on the microfabrication line.
  • Propose and implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce lead times or lower project manufacturing costs.
  • Support the technical team in organising and scheduling requests to meet customer requirements and the deadlines promised to them.
  • Participate in the organisation’s regular production and quality reviews.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by your line manager within your area of expertise.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Diploma (DEC) in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science.
  • Three years’ experience in a technology-based manufacturing facility.
  • Meticulous approach to work and ability to draft technical documents.
  • Knowledge of quality management techniques.
  • Strong skills in scheduling and prioritisation.
  • Teamwork skills.
  • Leadership and autonomy.
  • Ability to identify new ideas for improvement and communicate them.
  • Desire to work in an environment characterised by creativity, innovation and frequent change.
  • Functional spoken and written French and English.
