C2MI Optimizes Its Leadership Structure to Support Its Expansion

Major investments, cutting‑edge quantum capabilities: C2MI adjusts its leadership to accelerate its expansion and strengthen its technological leadership.

Bromont, March 27, 2026 — Following major investment announcements aimed at expanding C2MI and adding new quantum microfabrication capabilities—including infrastructure that will be among the very first in the world capable of producing superconducting quantum chips—as well as advanced post‑assembly and post‑processing capabilities, the MiQro Innovation Collaboration Centre (C2MI) is announcing a strategic reorganization of its vice‑presidential structure to support its continued growth.

This new structure is designed to optimize the efficiency of scientific and technical teams, support the commissioning of new technical infrastructure, and further strengthen C2MI’s position as a leading innovation hub in advanced microelectronics in Canada. In this context, two key vice‑presidencies will be central to the transformation and will play a decisive role in driving C2MI’s strategic momentum:

Vice‑President, Applications, led by Martin Beaumier, bringing together operations and business development to ensure stronger alignment between partner needs, operational delivery, and market evolution.

Vice‑President, Technologies, entrusted to Annie Dallaire, responsible for advancing technology platforms, ensuring the performance of R&D infrastructure, and integrating new capabilities and processes in microfabrication and advanced packaging.

“C2MI is entering a phase of transformation that paves the way for major technological breakthroughs. This reorganization will enable us to strengthen our agility, accelerate innovation, and create an environment where our teams can fully realize their potential. Together, we are building the future of microfabrication in Canada and beyond,” added Marie‑Josée Turgeon, President and Chief Executive Officer.

C2MI reiterates its strong commitment to supporting industrial and institutional partners in the development of world‑class technologies, thereby contributing to the strategic advancement of the innovation ecosystem. As part of this growth, several positions will be opening in the coming months to support the expansion of activities and the arrival of new infrastructure.
