The Future of Printable Electronics and 3D Printing Takes Place at C2MI

Bromont, April 12, 2018 – The MiQro Innovation Collaborative Centre (C2MI) wishes to thank all the attendees and exhibitors of the Technical Conference on Printable Electronics and 3D Printing for contributing to the success of the event.

The event took place at C2MI, Canada’s largest centre dedicated to research and development of electronic systems. The technical conference offered a diverse program to the sixty participants, ranging from introduction to printable electronic processes, to demonstrations by industry and academic speakers of the challenges faced and solved, to exhibitors displaying specific innovative products intended for electronic printing. In fact, this conference was setting the base for a new technological era at C2MI where substantial investment to offer new capabilities in printed electronics and card assembly will soon be confirmed. This event was made possible with the contribution of NSERC and CISEQ.

CONFERENCES ON VARIOUS SUBJECTS 

Among the speakers: Peter Kallai from Intelliflex, Martin Bolduc from the Institut National d’Optique (INO), Sylvain G. Cloutier from l’École de Technologie Supérieure, Arnold Kell from NRC presented a project from GGI Solutions and finally, Luc Fréchette from the Université de Sherbrooke. These conferences proposed a sight of the promising future of printable electronics and 3D printing for the industry players and illustrates the important role C2MI intends to play to contribute to the development of these promising new technologies.
