On October 6, 2022, creation of the very first Chair in Microfabrication and Integration by the Université de Sherbrooke and the C2MI. Chairholder Serge Écoffey is also a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and specializes in microfabrication, integration and microelectronic devices.
