TECHNOLOGIST – MEMS SECTOR

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for participating in certain client projects and supporting the C2MI technical development team in the manufacture of prototypes on a dedicated production line for microelectronic devices (MEMS). They will be responsible for supporting various micro-manufacturing processes and equipment. They will also be required to monitor product quality in order to be able to draft the necessary reports or provide analyses to the technical team and partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the development of process recipes based on client requests.
- Programme the various pieces of equipment to carry out the required work.
- Inspect and analyse data following critical manufacturing stages to ensure quality.
- Conduct development tests to determine the capability of equipment and processes.
- Collect, compile and analyse the data required to support the drafting of technical reports.
- Learn, programme and use new equipment.
- Propose and implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce project lead times or lower costs for customers.
- Support the technical team in organising and scheduling requests, bearing in mind customer requirements and the deadlines promised to them.
- Take part in the organisation’s regular production and quality reviews.
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by your line manager within your area of expertise.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A college diploma in mechanics/physics, laboratory analysis or any other relevant qualification.
- An aptitude for and curiosity about learning different methods of equipment programming.
- The ability to come up with new ideas for improvement and to communicate them.
- Desire to work in an environment characterised by creativity, innovation and frequent change.
- Experience in a microsystems manufacturing plant or a manufacturing facility (an advantage).
- Knowledge of quality management techniques.
- Skills in logistics, scheduling and priority management.
- Teamwork skills.
- Leadership and autonomy.
- Ability to identify new ideas for improvement and communicate them.
- Desire to work in a creative, innovative environment with frequent changes.
- Functional spoken and written French and English, as the client base is international.
