POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a professional who will be responsible for managing all stages of the equipment lifecycle—from acquisition and deployment to end‑of‑life—while ensuring their optimal integration within our technological environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to ensure the success of strategic projects that directly support C2MI’s innovation activities, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

Actively contributing to equipment selection, drafting technical specifications, and purchasing processes, while ensuring installation and maintenance requirements are met;
Planning, coordinating, monitoring, and archiving all installation projects, from project initiation through qualification and handover to users;
Managing installation budgets and ensuring rigorous tracking of costs and schedules;
Coordinating and collaborating with internal and external resources (suppliers, consultants, partners) to ensure project success;
Overseeing key project milestones: factory acceptance testing (FAT), delivery, reception, installation, site acceptance testing (SAT), qualification, certifications, definition and documentation of preventive maintenance, user handover, and project close‑out;
Reporting project progress to stakeholders and senior management;
Organizing supplier visits;
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable standards (OHS, environment, CSA, SEMI, SPE1000, etc.);
Documenting, improving, and updating equipment installation and end‑of‑life processes;
Maintaining the equipment obsolescence database and contingency planning;
Implementing and managing a project tracking software system.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent experience;
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a technological or manufacturing environment;
Strong project management skills in a complex, multidisciplinary environment;
Additional training in project management (an asset);
High level of autonomy, strong organizational skills, and proactive mindset;
Excellent command of French and strong English communication skills (oral and written, intermediate to advanced level), as equipment suppliers are located internationally;
General knowledge of C2MI technologies and environment (an asset).
