Adetel Group and C2MI strengthen their partnership in failure analysis tests for components of embedded systems intended to transports.
Bromont, November 20th 2014 – Adetel Group Canada, a member of the MiQro Innovation Collaborative Centre (C2MI) since 2012, and which recent agreement with the industrial firm Alstom has provided them with an additional strategic force in its engineering activities in the field of embedded systems intended for transport strengthens its partnership with the C2MI by confiding them all of its failure analysis tests.
By its recent alliance with Alstom, Adetel Group Canada becomes an important engineering center with the hiring of more than 70 engineering specialists in restricted environment and operational conditions maintenance, enabling them to address much larger markets. C2MI is proud to support Adetel Group growth, in this new market segment, with its expertise.
Alone, the microelectronics industry in Quebec, represents $ 4.5 billion, the vast majority of production is destined to exportation. This sector accounts for 25,000 direct and indirect jobs and is experiencing strong growth with a rate of 6% compared to other industrial sectors reaching a rate of 3.8%. For the embedded systems segment, within which Adetel Group Canada is evolving, the annual estimated growth since 2011 is 12%¹.
